Liberty X trio heading to Westwood Cross

Westwood Cross has announced  Liberty X will be one of the main star acts at the Christmas Light switch on, taking place on Friday 17th November.

Liberty X members Michelle Heaton, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young will be performing the band’s top hits ‘Work Just a Little’ and ‘Thinking It Over’.

Liberty X were finalists in the 2001 series of Popstars and went on to release their debut single, “Thinking It Over”, in September 2001. “Just A Little” topped the UK singles chart in May 2002. At that time the group also included  Tony Lundon and Kevin Simm.

There will also be a line up of tribute act performances through the decades such as Elton John and Ed Sheeran.

Francesca Donovan, Centre Manager at Westwood Cross, said: “Every year we look forward to celebrating Christmas with the community, and we’re so excited to be kicking off the festive season with incredible entertainment. It’s going to be a fun night for all!”

Join Father Christmas and Joey the Elf on a festive parade from 4pm at the Bus Hub at Westwood Cross, with the festive lights set to be switched on at 6pm – including a giant teddy bear, a feature reindeer, and a walk-through bauble.
