Little ones settle in at St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School

Reception children at St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School

New reception children at St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School in Margate have just completed their first full week of school.

The youngsters had fun exploring the learning environment, making new friends and showing their talents and interests.

The warm weather allowed lots of opportunities for the children to use the outside area during child-initiated time and puddle-suits and wellies are ready for when the weather turns.

Pupils have been building, playing, learning how to ride the school bikes and enjoying opportunities to support their development.

Reception teacher Laura Wright said: “We are so proud of how well they have settled into school life and how they have taken all the new routines in their stride.

“We cannot wait to see what else this year will have in store for us. A big welcome to all that have become part of the St Gregory’s family this year.“
