Students at St Lawrence College in Ramsgate have been celebrating some excellent GCSE and IGCSE results today (August 24).
The determination and hard work of both pupils and teachers has yielded some excellent achievements and a number of youngsters have achieved outstanding results during their GCSE course.
Among the many highlights, in which 75% or more pupils achieved grades 9-6 in Arabic, Art, Chemistry, Chinese, German and Physics, special mention goes to Nigelle, who achieved 6 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s, and to Daniele, who achieved 4 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s.
Head of College Barney Durrant said: “At St Lawrence College, we continue to support our pupils to achieve their potential, not only with academic excellence but also to develop the skills, resilience and adaptability in preparation for their future lives. We wish all of our pupils well as they continue with their Sixth Form studies.”
