Emergency services called to crash on Shottendane Road

Emergency services

Kent Police was called to a collision involving a car and a van in Shottendane Road, near Park Road and Minster Road, at 6.40am today (August 23).

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and assisted with traffic management.

“The road was closed while the incident was responded to but has since been cleared.”

No serious injuries were reported.

  1. Thats a narrow fast road, some bad junctions along there making it far worse in the summer with all the leaves on the trees and other overhanging foliage – good no serious injuries.

    • Not a built up area so the National speed limit applies (60mph) unless it is signposted otherwise – so I would most defiantly call it a fast narrow road.

    • That right – skid off the road in snow/black ice – bloody idiots shouldn’t drive in the snow – we will have people aquaplaning in heavy rain soon, Oh no! Whatever next ffs 🙂
