Post Office branch to reopen in Minster at Attwells Newsagents

Minster Post Office is to re-open in September at the revamped Attwell’s Premier, 57 High Street, Minster.

This will restore Post Office services to the area after the previous branch closed in December.

There will be a Post Office counter alongside the retail counter of the convenience store which is due to open on Wednesday 20 September at 1pm.

The Post Office opening hours will be: Monday to Saturday: 6am – 8pm; Sunday: 7am – 5pm. This will provide 94 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.

Emily Clive, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring a Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. The branch’s opening hours will make it convenient for customers to visit.”

The Post Office was keen to restore this branch to the area as soon as possible, so decided to go ahead with plans.

The opportunity to give feedback will close on 15 September. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at with the branch code 222909.

  1. Something that was never reported on here to my knowledge was the Post Office opening in Minnis Bay last year, 14 years after the previous one shut!

    Now, can we have re-opened Post Offices/stores in Acol, Cliffsend, Monkton, Manston and Sarre please?
