Police are carrying out enquiries after a man was hit by a car, with the driver leaving the scene, in Broadstairs on Monday (August 14).
The man was hit in Albion Street, near the Dolphin pub, at around 11.50pm. The driver did not stop and police are carrying out enquiries to identify the vehicle.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 11.50pm on Monday 14 August following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Albion Street, Broadstairs.
“The vehicle did not stop at the scene. Officers attended and carried out a thorough search of the local area and enquiries to identify the car are ongoing.
“No serious injuries were reported.”
