Woman injured in three vehicle crash in Broadstairs

A woman was taken to hospital for treatment following a three vehicle crash in Broadstairs today (June 29).

Kent Police was called at 1.29pm  to a report of the collision near Upton school.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended the scene in Broadstairs Road, Broadstairs, with paramedics. A woman sustained an injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

“Officers remained at the scene until around 2.45pm to assist with vehicle recovery.”

  1. Good reason for children walking to school and not driven. When will parents learn that they cause these incidents. Get well soon

  2. My 15 year old son witnessed the accident whilst on the phone talking to me. He helped one of the ladies out of her car and checked she was ok as well as he could do. Double parking on that bend needs to be stopped immediately, the parking outside Charles Dickens school just as careless with cars on the Zig Zags and blocking vision for cars exiting St James avenue at school pick up times. I’m proud my son helped however the worry of the children who do walk to and from school are at risk by irresponsible parking. Let’s hope this potentially dangerous situation is addressed by the authorities.
