Thanet Schools Young Artists Festival at The Margate School

Art from young people aged 3-18 is being exhibited at The Margate School.

The 14th annual Thanet Schools Young Artists Festival, organised by Margate Rotary Club, opens May 29-June 4.

Some 670 paintings from 37 Thanet schools, colleges and from individuals is on show.

A prizegiving will be held on June 3 at noon for winners and those with commendations. Sir Roger Gale MP, artist Willow Winston artist and Margate mayor Rob Yates will be presenting the prizes and certificates.

Artists Willow Winston, Barrie Page, and Angela Malone judged the paintings for the 2023 exhibition.

The exhibition at The Margate School (former Woolworths) is open each day from 10am to 5pm.
