Drum n Bass musicians are heading to Dreamland for “a huge event” featuring Goldie, Adam F, Congo Natty, Dillinga, DJ Hype and more.
Taking place on Saturday 2 September, tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday 28 April via www.margatesummerseries.co.uk.
Goldie has been a critical part of the scene since he broke out in the 90s. Celebrating the best of drum n bass, Goldie has also intertwined it with hip-hop, jazz and soul.
Goldie will be joined by a wealth of drum n bass stars including Adam F. He’s the musician and producer who’s been making major waves in the hip hop world since the 90s. His debut album ‘Colours’ received widespread critical acclaim, securing a prestigious MOBO Award.
Congo Natty, widely known and loved as a revolutionary, joins the line up. Get Ready, Jungalist, Nu Beginingz and more will ring out around Dreamland Margate as Congo Natty takes to the stage.
Producer Dillinja also features. First tipped in the 90s when he took the Brixton music scene by storm, he has since joined forces with other heavyweights including Goldie.
DJ Hype is a battle DJ who gained notoriety for his deckwork in the late 80s. Reggae, hip hop, house and hardcore are at the root of his individual sound.
The Drum N Bass Legends event will take place from 4pm onwards, at Dreamland’s indoor venue.
