Grime artist and rapper Dizzee Rascal joins the line up for the 2023 Margate Summer Series at Dreamland.
Grime innovator, producer and chart-topping hit maker, Dizzee Rascal will be performing at the park on August 19.
Known for releasing boundary-breaking music, Dizzee Rascal secured four UK number one hits from just one album alone. He has received the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, BRIT Award for Best Male Artist, and has collaborated with everyone from Calvin Harris, Kano, D Double E and Frisco.
From his first album in 2003, ‘Boy In Da Corner’ to his latest single in 2022, ‘High Road’ Rascal has curated a massive following.
In 2020, Dizzee made a huge return with his acclaimed studio album, E3 AF. Dizzee dusted off the bassline rhythms, dubstep wobbles and garage hi-jinks that infused this eleventh album with a nod to his earliest days.
His best-selling songs, ‘Dance Wiv Me’ and ‘Bonkers’ are expected to be performed at the Dreamland gig.
The event is 16+, if you’re under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult. The show will be from 5pm – 11pm. Tickets are priced from £37.50 + booking fee.
Tickets are on sale from Friday, April 14, 9am, via www.margatesummerseries.co.uk

Doesn’t Margate have enough grimey artists as it is?!
As if the local residents don’t have enough to contend with – now boundary breaking music. Whatever that is.
It means it can be heard in Westgate.
It means he literally invented a genre and put uk music culture back on the map after years drifting around the doldrums.
It’s still cr*p.
i would sooner shove a wasp up my ar*e than pay for this rubbish
Each to their own
Hey Real world, guess what, you don’t have to buy a ticket, nor do you have to comment. So, logically, what you whinging for?
