Spring Vibes All-Dayer heading to Olby’s in Margate

The annual Margate Soul Festival takes place this August but fans don’t have to wait that long for a music taster as a top DJ line up will be performing for The Spring Vibes All-Dayer this month.

Organised by  Margate Soul Festival & Mi-Soul Radio and hosted by Olby’s, the all-dayer takes place on Sunday, April 30 and will include sets by Gordon Mac, Bigger, Ronnie Herel, Bob Masters, Craig Williams, June Furlong and Micky D with others to be announced.

Doors open at 2pm and the event will end at 2am.

Tickets can be bought on both the Mi-Soul website (https://mi-soul.com/msf-2023-spring-vibes-all-dayer/) and at Olbys website (https://olbyscreativehub.co.uk/event/the-msf-2023-spring-vibes-alldayer/) at £10 for the early birds ticket or £15 standard entry. plus booking fee, or £20 on the door.

If you can’t wait that long for your Olby’s fix, The Social and Bangers Comedy Club are both on this weekend.

The Social takes place on April 7 and is dedicated to Black dance music from the 30s to the present day.

Blues, rock ‘n’ roll, 60’s soul and more will be provided by DJ Jerome and Lindsay plus guest DJ to be confirmed.

The Social runs from 7pm-midnight and is free entry.

Bangers Comedy Club will take place the next night (April 8), with comedians including Curtis Walker, Russell Hicks, Raj, Rudi and Kat. Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 8pm. Tickets are £18 and available here: olbyscreativehub.co.uk
