Emergency services called to report of pedestrian hit by car in Ramsgate

Police and paramedics have been called to Margate Road in Ramsgate to a report of a pedestrian hit by a car.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police is attending a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Margate Road, Ramsgate.

“Officers were called to the scene at around 4pm on Friday 24 March. The South East Coast Ambulance Service is also in attendance.”

Earlier today (March 24) police also attended a collision in Broadstairs.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to a report of a collision involving two vehicles at 12.43pm on Friday 24 March.

“Officers attended Westwood Road, Broadstairs, and assisted with the recovery of one of the vehicles. The road was clear by 3pm.”
