Children at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Broadstairs have been learning about how maths is in many parts of daily life.
The youngsters have enjoyed a ‘Maths Eyes Week’, where their challenge was to keep a look out on where maths could lead them in the future.
Youngsters learnt how maths is in the world of banking, engineering, retail and underpins virtually everything we do.
The week culminated with ‘Dress like a Number Day’, with children encouraged to wear clothes that represented numbers.
Some of the parents also joined in with number based puns featuring on jumpers.
