Broadstairs-based scaffold firm Leadbeatters Labour Ltd, is aiming to give something back to the community by organising a free day trip for older Thanet people who may be isolated for the second year running.
Last year owner Wayne Leadbeatter organised a day trip to Rye and treated all those taking part to a fish and chip lunch.
This year Wayne is repeating the offer, this time with an outing to Hythe on April19, fish and chip lunch included.
He said: “Whether you need cheering up, feel isolated or fancy a day out to lift your spirits, get in touch. There will be five pick up points around Thanet and you must be able to get on and off the coach unaided.”
If you’d like to nominate yourself or somebody else for individual or a pair of tickets, please email Karen@leadbeatterslabour.co.uk
Please include how to contact the person. All nominations will be entered into the draw and people will be notified if they are successful.
What an absolutely lovely thing to do. Thank you from a member of the older generation. Enjoy your day.
Great to see us older folks looked after. Thank you!
marvelous offer , will sir roger be on the bus ????
I’ll nominate Peter. The fresh air and company might do him some good. His anger and aggression is not healthy.
You really need to check out my interviews more. You’ll hate ’em!
He wont want fish and chips incase it makes him obese
My 92 year old fit Dad and I had a lovely time on the last trip. Thank you so much for thinking of us older folks. X
