Ramsgate Tunnels

Ramsgate Tunnels will be running Deep Shelter Explorer Tours every day from February 13-19 until 19th at 10am, noon, 2pm and 4pm. Tickets can be booked here:

Lillyputt Minigolf Broadstairs

Lillyputt is open every day during half term, 10am-4pm(ish)!

It has 12 championship holes and a lucky 13th hole.. The Garden Cafe is also open, serving a full menu of tasty treats, from classic toasties, rolls and tea cakes, to the amazing sweet and savoury crepes and their freshly ground coffee.

Conservation Fest 2023!

February 16-17, Crab Museum, 9 Broad Street Margate, from noon

Conservation Fest will feature workshops, activities, talks and music for all ages

The Crab Museum teams up with national wildlife charity Butterfly Conservation to organise the first ever Conservation Fest with workshops, activities, talks and music for all ages – and thanks to Crab Museum’s still active crowdfunder and the National Lottery Heritage Fund it’s totally free!

Conservation Fest will provide the public with practical tips and education to help local wildlife get ready for spring. Over the two days attendees will explore the science of conservation in a fun and interactive way, encouraging all visitors to engage with nature and stake their claim in improving their local areas.

Seed Bomb making workshop
‘Build your own Moth’ workshop
Soil under the microscope: explore soil like you’ve never seen it before!

Monkton Nature Reserve

Monkton Nature Reserve is a unique environment for British flora and fauna that thrive on chalk-based habitats. It is a managed by The Thanet Countryside Trust. The grassland contains many species of rare orchids and a variety of wildflowers; the woodland is over 40 years old and a haven for birds; the ponds teem with wildlife.

The Spitfire and Hurricane Museum

Displaying the two iconic war planes, and also holding a host of objects and artefacts telling the story of life in and around Ramsgate during WWII. Central to the display are the iconic Spitfire Mk XVI and Hawker Hurricane Mk IIc.
