Sunshine Machine visit and children’s club launch planned for Thanet Pro Wrestling in Ramsgate

Thanet Pro Wrestling plans for 2023

Thanet Pro Wrestling, based at Royal Harbour Academy in Ramsgate, has big plans for 2023, including the launch of a children’s club and a high profile tag team visiting in April.

Thanet’s first dedicated pro wrestling training facility launched in September last year and has now adopted  non-profit model.

The team – Jamie Hill, Stewart Pears and Christopher Care – will host tag team Sunshine Machine on April 16.

The professional wrestling duo of Chuck Mambo and TK Cooper, are working on the European independent scene. They are former RevPro Undisputed British Tag Team Champions and current PROGRESS Tag Team Champions.

The pair will be running a seminar for wrestling fans.

Jamie said: “This is big news for wrestling fans who live in and outside of Thanet and people are already booking their place.”

Thanet Pro Wrestling hold wrestle fit sessions on Thursdays at 6pm and Sundays at 3pm. A launch date for the kids club is due to be announced soon.

Jamie added: “The club is growing and gaining popularity and we only hope to continue on this successful path building the TPW family.

“The dream is to see the club flourish and make a difference in people’s lives, whether that be improving confidence, making our trainees have a sense of purpose, being part of a team and having a club to look forwards to while getting fit.!

The team, who are all DBS checked, also plan to bring a premium live event to the RHA base later this year.
