A new retail store is now open at Ramsgate Garden Centre and has created seven jobs.
Menarys is a family business based in Northern Ireland. The Ramsgate venue is the firm’s first in England.
The new 3,500sq ft store in Montefiore Avenue, off Hereson Road, opened yesterday (November 23).
Director Stephen McCammon said:“Menarys were recently awarded Winner of the ‘Northern Ireland Family Retail Business of the Year 2022’. Currently trading in 17 locations across Ireland since 1923, we are well known for bringing quality, value and big brands to the local communities.
“As we approach our Centenary, we are incredibly proud to be reaching a new milestone in our business, with the opening of our very first store in England!

Menarys, Ramsgate is home to brands including bedding by Bedeck, fashion by First Avenue, Ichi, Khost and menswear by Jack Jones, outerwear from Regatta, a range of cookware from Stellar & Judge alongside handbags and accessories from brands such as Guess, Brakeburn and Powder.
Menarys was founded in 1923 by Cookstown draper Joseph Alexander, the great-uncle of current Managing Directors, Stephen and Philip McCammon.
