An area of Manston Road and Newington Road was shut off by police today (September 17) following a reported assault.
A man was taken to hospital after police and paramedics attended at 3pm.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to Manston Road, Ramsgate, near the junction with Newington Road, shortly after 3pm following a report a man had been assaulted.
“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.”

The road has been reopened.
