  1. With those in Ramsgate last and this year and all the other mysterious vehicle fires must be close to 50 that is a lot of vehicles fires it must be ridiculous getting reasonable insurance for all vehicles in thanet, Insurance companies have all the information put in to the systems and once you enter ct9 to ct12 and any other post code where suspicious vehicle fires have occurred your insurance quotes go up it is possible for insurance now to people with no claims be at risk of paying upto £400 extra for insurance in thanet depending where they live. I feel that I’m lucky I don’t drive anymore because I couldn’t find the insurance and it’s because of the arson risk to cars not garaged.

    • Big Chris,
You make a valid point in as much that many of us could well pay more for for car insurance due to the stupidity and criminality of a couple of Thanet’s finest. How could we possibly make them pay?

      • Ton having given it great thought I would say if they are caught and found guilty they would be responsible for the insurance on the cars set alight, if they are on benefits they reduced or stopped to pay for it, or they are fined as well as a sentence of restitution to the community and the fine be given to the car/vehicles owner/s if more than 1 vehicle torched.

  2. Wow. Thanet police actually caught people…makes a change from catching KEBABS… Im surprised they didn’t try and write the usual’ what is your hoped outcome letter’95% failure on everything except harassment where there is no crime. START FROM SCRATCH!
