“Officers attended and a 31-year-old man from the Ramsgate area was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm.
“An imitation firearm was seized as part of an ongoing investigation and the man remains in custody.”
delightful little seaside town ????
Yes, it is.
Well done to the informant for reporting what they saw even though it turned out to be a imitation gun/firearm. Nobody is likely to know the difference if pointed at them, even BB guns are supposed to be kept in safe place in case/bag for the said purpose and not visible/allowed in public areas without such coverage.
It was a lighter in shape of a gun and the person who reported it knew this as they used it before calling police
Was left to family after family member recently passing
Hi Coral really That makes them both stupid the person for having it and there so called friend for reporting it, it could only happen in thanet look at how much police time was wasted if what you say is true and I’ve no reason to doubt you.
spot on
Seems we all need to keep vigilant, you just never know these days, better to be safe than sorry.
It’s funny how they arrest someone over an imitation firearm and take that away but when I reported my ex for having a real gun, ammo and obtaining it illegally they said they won’t do anything about it and now I’m left feeling unsafe and scared for my life with the police failing me.
