A man’s body has been found in Ellington Park, Ramsgate, today (September 2).
The sad discovery was made at the miniature train canopy area by a dog walker this morning. Kent Police and forensic officers are at the park after being called at 7am.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 7am following concern for a man in Ellington Park, Ramsgate.
“Officers attended, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, and a man in his 40s was pronounced deceased.
“The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
Thinking of this man, his family and friends. Terribly sad.
I am always confused by the police statement that the discovery of a dead body in a park is not being treated as suspicious . . .
It means that there is no evidence that a crime has been committed.
So sad to hear this, well put comment. RIP hope they can trace people who knew him to they know about him, and pay their respects. A life lost is always sad regardless of the circumstances.
Whilst you lot argue
