Emergency services in attendance at two collisions in Westwood and Ramsgate

Officers are in attendance at two collisions this morning

Emergency services have been called out to two crashes today (August 27) at Westwood and Ramsgate.

Kent Police was called at around 11.25am following a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on the roundabout at Westwood connecting the A254 Margate Road and the A256. Officers are in attendance and no serious injuries have been reported.

Officers were also called at around 11.50am following a collision involving a car and a bicycle on Margate Road, Ramsgate, by the viaduct.

Officers are currently in attendance and a woman who was riding the bicycle is being treated by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

  1. A girl driver crashed into a woman pedestrian crossing the road outside tesco in cliftonvilleand left the woman with life affecting injuries which requires surgery

    • Was either the driver of the car or pedestrian using a phone at the time ! only asking as often when driving I see people crossing roads while staring at mobile phones with no regard to traffic ..
