Cars in Birchington vandalised with ‘corrosive substance’

A number of cars were damaged in Birchington after a ‘corrosive substance’ was smeared on them.

Kent Police is investigating a report that four vehicles parked on the forecourt of a business premises in Canterbury Road near the junction with Broadley Avenue were vandalised with the substance. Damage was also caused to CCTV cameras.

The damage is believed to have been caused at around 10.25pm on Monday 25 October.
