A man pulled from the water at Beresford Gap in Birchington on Friday (May 14) sadly died at the scene.
Kent Police attended Beresford Gap,along with HM Coastguard and South East Coast Ambulance service, following a report of a person in the water. Officers were called to the scene at around 9..30am.
A man in his fifties was recovered from the water but died at the scene.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
