Girl group All Saints to headline Pride celebrations at Dreamland

All Saints will headline Pride at Dreamland

All Saints will headline Dreamland Margate’s Pride celebrations this summer.

The girl group is heading to Margate on Saturday, August 8 for an explosive live set as part of the Margate Pride celebrations, with special guests to be announced.

Comprising Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, Natalie and Nicole Appleton, All Saints became one of the most successful pop groups of the 1990s with two multi-platinum albums, record sales in excess of 12 million worldwide and 5 number one hits including double BRIT award-winning Never Ever, Under The Bridge/Lady Marmalade, Black Coffee and Pure Shores- written for the film The Beach.

The band released their first new album in 10 years ‘Red Flag’ in 2016, and their latest album ‘Testament’ saw the band reunite with producer William Orbit in 2018 and embark on a new UK tour.

Tickets for All Saints at Dreamland go on sale at 10am on Thursday, March 12 at www.dreamland.co.uk. It is one of many events lined up in 2020 for Dreamland’s 100th birthday celebrations.

Margate Pride traditionally takes place every August, giving revellers the chance to keep the rainbow-soaked celebrations going down by the sea across the summer. With a huge parade and parties across town, Dreamland hosts a major evening music event every year and is delighted to support the local celebrations. Previous Pride acts include Melanie C & Sink The Pink and Gok Wan.

Dreamland Margate reopens for Easter on Saturday, April 4, and the park will open during all school holidays and on selected weekends. Always check Dreamland’s website for up to date opening hours www.dreamland.co.uk
