Amazing sand art at Botany Bay to mark West End show opening

Incredible sand drawing

This amazing 50m sand drawing of Moses was etched onto the sands of Botany Bay to mark the opening night tonight (February 25) of stage musical The Prince of Egypt.

The show, based on the DreamWorks animated motion picture, opened in the West End at the Dominion Theatre.

The show, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, includes Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey hits and is based on the book of Exodus.

It brings to life the story of Moses, beginning when he is discovered by Pharaoh’s wife in a wicker basket floating on the Nile.
