A free light and film installation exploring and showcasing work including dancing on roller skates and Margate RNLI performing Mambo can be seen on an art trail this weekend.

The town will light up with vibrant film projections cast across prominent sites for two nights this Friday and Saturday (January 3-4).

Visually stunning and part of the Turner Prize satellite festival Margate Now, Collision Dance and Light is a series of five installations taken from works performed last year.

Paying homage to the town’s eclectic character Round in Circles community dance company has performed imaginative interdisciplinary pieces that showcase everything from the kitsch pastiche of Margate’s nightclub history, In Search of Xanadu, to Regency dance piece, A Trip to Margate.
