Kent Police panto group to take to the stage at Margate’s Theatre Royal

The Wizard of Auss

The boys and girls in blue are back to entertain you (Oh yes they are).

Kent Police Pantomime Group is back at the Theatre Royal Margate in February for their 22nd stage spectacular “The Wizard from Auss”.

Lost in an unfamiliar land, a place over the rainbow, down the yellow tick-toad occupied by Plodkins, join Dorothy and her faithful dog Tony on a whirlwind adventure as they try to find their way back to her Auntie Em at Thanet Farm.

On the way, she makes some new friends. A scarecrow that needs a brain, a tin-her who needs a beating heart and a cowardly lion who is desperate to be brave. It is not going to be easy for Dorothy to get home with the Wicked Warlock of Westgate and Wicked Witch of Eastgate keeping a close eye on her. Will the Wizard from Auss himself be able to help? Will the spirit of friendship triumph over evil? And who are the Plodkins?

Find out all the answers in the pantomime that boasts plenty of audience participation, dazzling costumes, amazing scenery, and a live band, The Wizard from Auss is an unmissable half-term treat for all the family.

Funds are being raised for chosen charities Pilgrims Hospices and Headway East Kent.
