Everything you need to know about the Cliftonville Christmas lights switch on event 2019

The switch on takes place at St Paul's Church

The Cliftonville Partnership hosts its Christmas light switch on at St Paul’s Church in Northdown Road tomorrow (December 5) from 4.45pm to 6.30pm.

Schedule

4:45pm -Doors open

4:50pm- Arrival of the Margate Mayor Mick Tomlinson and Mayoress Shirley Tomlinson

5pm-Special appearance of children’s entertainer Simple Simon

5:15pm – Magic show by Spinning Top Children’s Entertainment

5:30pm -Countdown by Gordon Clarkson, followed by “switch on” of the festive tree lighting by Cllr Mick Tomlinson

5:40pm-6:05pm-Holy Trinity & St John’s Church of England Primary School choir

6:10pm approx- Christmas carols accompanied by the St Paul’s Worship Band

Plus free tea/coffee/cordial& mince pies available (sponsored by St Paul’s Church volunteers, Booker Cash and Carry and Tesco)

Balloon modelling by the fantastic Spinning Top Children’s Entertainment (one free balloon per child in attendance-additional balloons £1 nominal charge).
