The 29 piece orchestra will bring the magic of the well known Raymond Briggs animations to life. Walking in The Air will be sung by the angelic 11 year old George Gannon who has sung with the Caterbury Choristers and The Bear will have the majestical voices of Michael Burke (of the ENO) and Peter Futcher (Choir of Canterbury Cathedral).

James Ross, who has conducted over 1000 works in some 18 different countries, will be at the helm of this enchanting show.

He said: “I am delighted to be working with Black Cat Events to present Howard Blake’s beautiful scores played live to the films of The Snowman and The Bear with Kent Sinfonia. “These performances at Margate Winter Gardens promise to be a magical pre-Christmas treat: with a professional orchestra, the films will come to life in a completely different way from cinema and television. We also have three marvellous vocal soloists, including eleven-year old chorister George Gannon singing Walking in the Air from The Snowman.!
