Photos: Hundreds of children join first Ramsgate trick or treat trail

On the trick or treat trail

Ramsgate Town Team, Town Council, Arts in Ramsgate and Addington Street Community Group had their first successful Trick or Treat trail yesterday (October 25) with around 300 children joining them.

There were 17 independent businesses taking part and one mum said: “Ramsgate Town Team hope you do it again next year. My little girl loved it, and I visited some shops I’ve never been in before. All the shop owners/workers were so lovely.”

The  Cozi Van Tutti vehicle made an appearance, offering crafting activities inside during the afternoon. Arts in Ramsgate staff were on hand along with town team volunteers and many of the sweets were sourced from the local sweet shop, Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe.

The children enjoyed having their faces painted by two fantastic facepainters and loved the skeletons in Charlotte Court and the spooky haunted alley! The town team would like to thank all the shopkeepers and are looking forward to hosting the event again next year.
