Bromstone primary children make Gap Project donation

A gift from Bromstone pupils

Children at Bromstone Primary School in Broadstairs have brought donations of tins and packets into class to send on to The Gap Project at Queens Road Baptist Church.

All of the children took part in harvest assemblies and talked about the importance of helping others who are in need. The food was delivered to the church, who will donate it to the homeless and vulnerable in the community. Such a lot of food was donated that it has filled the store cupboards and will last them for the next few months.

Kurtis Bedford, from the school, said: “With winter just around the corner, The Gap Project at Queens Road Baptist Church is always looking for donations of warm clothing, tinned and packet food, sleeping bags and blankets, so if you are having a clear out, please think of them. They do such an amazing job and need community support.”
