Road closed while cars recovered following Margate crash

Two cars had to be removed from a Margate road following a crash this afternoon (September 24).

Police closed part of George V Avenue, near Hartsdown Academy while the vehicles, a Ford Focus  and a Peugeot 308, were dealt with

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to a report of a collision in George V Avenue, Margate at around 1.22pm.

“Officers attended the scene, which involved two vehicles and they’ve since been recovered.”

  1. Not suprised. People drive like loons. Thee other road thats aa nightmare is the nash road. Drivers drive too fast and are inconsideratee of thwe othere party on bends they have to bee in thee middle of the road for some reason. Driving is getting worseI as people get more selfish and ignorant.
