Heritage Open Days comes to the Palace Cinema from Friday (September 20) until Sunday (September 22) between 11am-2pm each day.
Visitors will enjoy a rare chance to see inside the lovely old Grade II listed cinema without buying a ticket for a film. No booking is required, just drop in to have a quick look around or stay to find out about local cinema history.
Entrance is free to the foyer and auditorium, with free 10 minute talks on the history of the Palace and other former Broadstairs cinemas at 11:15am, 12:15pm and 1:15pm each day. There will also be a ‘mini history trail’ fact-finding and colouring sheets for children.
Heritage Open Days 2019 take place across England from September 13-22.
