Police officers are making door to door enquiries in a Broadstairs street.
Officers, including forensics staff, and an ambulance crew have attended an incident in Swinburne Avenue.
The door to door enquiries have been to ask residents if they have CCTV at their properties.
It is understood police are looking for two suspects after a suspected robbery of an elderly resident at his home.
A resident said both uniformed and plain clothes officers are at the scene.
