Two arrests made after police called to brawl in Ramsgate

Police were called to Whitehall Road

Two arrests were made last night (September 4) following a fight between a group of people in Ramsgate.

Kent Police was called at 8.20pm to the disturbance in Whitehall Road where the group were brawling and nearby cars and windows had been damaged.

One person was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.

Two people were arrested at the scene, a 19-year-old from Ramsgate, on suspicion of affray, assault and criminal damage.  He has been released under investigation.

A 21-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of affray but has since been released without charge.
