A woman was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning (Sunday) after a man allegedly attacked a group of people as they walked through Cliftonville after a night out.
They were walking down Ethelbert Crescent when they were approached by a man between 12.30am and 12.50am.
An altercation took place and the two women in the group were assaulted with one needing hospital treatment.
A police spokesman said: “Officers attended the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
“Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/124845/19.”
