A large emergency services response is currently in place off Palm Bay Avenue after a report of a person falling from the cliff.
Police, fire crews and ambulances, as well as the air ambulance, have been called to the scene and a clifftop area has been taped off.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at 6.31pm to reports that a person had fallen off a cliff. Officers are on the scene assisting Secamb (ambulance service).”
