The Margate Made event returns this month with a selection of unique and beautiful hand-made items as well as activities for all the family.

There will be volunteers on hand to answer any questions visitors may have, refreshments will be available and there will be the opportunity to chat to the makers and about their crafts

Thirty-five stalls are booked for the event which takes place at Margate Adult Education Centre in Hawley Square on June 29 from 11am to 4pm.

Information will be available from a variety of organisations including Kent Adult Education and Open School East which recently moved to the site from Cliftonville.

Crafts include ceramics, toys, jewellery, glasswork, printing and more.

Organisers Lydia Martin and Sarah Gibbon launched the Margate Made event in July 2018 as an opportunity for isle makers who are new to selling and showing their work in public, as well as those with some experience, to provide a mix of media, skills and experience.

Parking is free at the nearby Mill Lane multi-storey car park.
