Former The Coral guitarist Bill Ryder- Jones brings his Yawny Yawn Piano Tour to Cliftonville for its only Kent stop in September.

Multi-instrumentalist, producer, string-arranger and composer Bill has had a career spanning 15 years, a rarity in a world that so often looks to the new.  From his musical interpretation of Italo Calvino’s ‘If On A Winters Night A Traveller’ (If… in 2011), 2013’s A Bad Wind Blows In My Heart, West Kirby County Primary (2015) and last year’s Yawn, Bill has constantly widened his scope.

At the end of 2018, Bill released the critically acclaimed Yawn – his fourth album. He has now reimagined the songs from Yawn, this time with only vocals and piano, opening an even more intimate window onto his world. Taking inspiration from The Beach Boys, Bill has titled this alternative version of the record Yawny Yawn and it will be released on July 26.

Bill will head out to tour the Yawny Yawn special piano shows, stopping at the Tom Thumb Theatre in Eastern Esplanade on September 27 from 7.30pm (door open 7pm).  The exclusive show has just 50 tickets up for sale costing £16.50 (including booking fee).

Limited advance tickets go on general sale from 9am on June 7 at
