Ramsgate RNLI launched this morning (June 5) following a report of a 32 ft yacht which had run aground.
The inshore lifeboat launched at 8.23am at the request of UK Coastguard. The yacht, with one person aboard, was aground on the Quern Bank.
The lifeboat arrived on scene and the crew passed a line and towed the casualty vessel into safer water. The ILB then released the tow, allowing the vessel to carry on its passage to Brighton.
