A Blessing of the Sea ceremony has taken place in Ramsgate today (May 27).
The event was hosted by Pugin’s Church and Shrine of St Augustine and attended by mayors of Kent – including Ramsgate mayor Raushan Ara. Also in attendance were the Salvation Army Band and Officiant, Monsignor Newton, Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.
The blessing was held at Ramsgate main sands.
