Police say they are continuing their investigations following a search after a report of an armed man in Ramsgate last night (May 10).
Police officers, some wearing protective head and face shields, were in the Auckland Avenue area after being called out at 5.30pm. The search was then extended to Pegwell.
A police spokesman confirmed the search was linked to the earlier incident in Newington,
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue but police stress there is no danger to the public.
