Armed police have expanded a search in Ramsgate following a report of a man with a weapon.
Police officers, some wearing protective head and face shields, were in the Auckland Avenue area after being called out at 5.30pm today (May 10).
The search has been extended with officers now in Pegwell.
A police spokesman has confirmed the search is linked to the earlier incident in Newington,
