Police and ambulance were called to Margate this morning (May 9) following a report of assault.
Emergency services attended Poets Corner following the report of a woman being assaulted at 7.02am.
A 35-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of assault and currently remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
