It is almost time for the fifth annual Thanet Pugathon

Thanet Pugathon

Thanet’s Pug-a-thon is back and will be celebrating its fifth birthday next month.

Stalls, food, including veggie and vegan options, raffle, games and, of course, pugs in fancy dress will all be on show at King George VI Park in Ramsgate on Sunday, May 12.

The event runs from 11am to 2pm and will be raising funds for Guardian Angel Dog Rescue.

Organiser Lucy Cook said: “It is a community event to meet up and make friends and hopefully encourage new foster homes and donations for Guardian Angel Dog Rescue.

“All dogs are welcome but the fancy dress, with £1 entry, is for the pugs. The event is free but donations of change in the buckets would be gratefully received.”
