
Police are investigating a burglary at the Co-Op supermarket in Westgate.
The store was targeted in the early hours of this morning (March 12) and cigarettes were stolen. The shop is currently closed.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 3.15am today to a report of a burglary at the Co-op in Station Road, Westgate.
“It was reported that entry to the premises was gained by forcing open the front door and that a quantity of cigarettes was stolen from within.
“Officers attended and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”

The authorities have to pussy-foot around the convicts who seem to have more rights than the victims. It’s a disgrace that nothing is done.
