Trio arrested at Westgate railway station on suspicion of robbery

British Transport Police were called to a report of a robbery at Westgate railway station yesterday (February 13).

Officers received a report at 5.39pm that a man is his 40s had been robbed of his mobile phone.

A BTP spokesman said: “Officers attended and three people were arrested on suspicion of robbery; a 32-year-old man from Whitstable, a 37-year-old man from Sheerness, and a 28-year-old woman from Broadstairs. They remain in custody.”
