Part of the Ramsgate Road, running into Queen’s Avenue in Margate, is currently closed for work to take place on the railway bridge.
Two timber baulks on the “down track” of the bridge are being renewed by Network Rail. Work is due to be completed by the early hours of tomorrow.
Engineering work is also taking place between Faversham and Ramsgate, closing all lines. Buses are replacing trains between Faversham and Ramsgate with additional buses running between Margate and Ramsgate.
Lines are shut until midnight.
