Two Coastguard teams were called out this evening (January 27) to reports of a suicidal man in Broadstairs.
HM Coastguard Margate were tasked by UK Coastguard along with HM Coastguard Deal at just after 6pm.
Once the teams had assembled a full search of the area was carried out, including going down onto the beach and base of cliffs.
Nothing was found and reports came in from Kent Police that the person had been found safe and well.
All units were stood down
